ኢትዮ ዲሰ የወላጆች ማኅበር የተመሰረተበት ምክንያት በጭንቀት ለተወጠሩ ወላጆች ካለው ጥልቅ አሳቢነት የተነሣ ነው። ብዙውን ጊዜ ከልጆቻችን ባህሪ ጋር በተያያዘ ከትምህርት ቤት በየቀኑ
ኢሜሎችን እንቀበላለን፣ ነገር ግን ለምን እንደተቀጡ እንኳን አናውቅም፣ ይህም ብስጭታችንን እና ግራ መጋባታችንን ይጨምራል።

ልጆቻችን የሚያዳምጡትን ሙዚቃ፣ በትምህርት ቤት የሚማሩትን፣ ወይም በስልክዎቻቸው ላይ የሚያደርጉትን ለመረዳት እንቸገራለን። መፍትሄዉ ምን ይሆን? ጤንነታችንስ ምን ደረጃ ላይ ይሆን? ተረዳድተን ልጆቻችንና ራሳችንን
እንዴት እናድን? አሁኑኑ በአባልነት ይመዝገቡና ተወያይተን መፍትሄ ማምጣት እንጀምር። ድር ቢያብር አንበሳ ያስር እንደተባለዉ!
እግዚአብሔር አምላክ አይለየን!

EthioDC Parent Association was founded out of deep concern for the stress and anxiety Ethiopian immigrant parents face today. We often get emails from schools about our children’s behavior, yet we don’t understand the full picture. This adds to our frustration and confusion.

As parents, we may struggle to understand the culture our kids are growing up in—their music, schoolwork, or even their use of phones.
